Fixed-scope builds use the band and milestones in the signed proposal. Material scope changes use a written change order. Hourly buckets and care retainers remain available when that engagement model fits better.

Every engagement begins with a paid discovery. The output is a written scope, a fixed-band quote, and a recommended path — and 50% of the fee credits toward the kickoff Project Retainer if you proceed within 30 days, capped at that Project Retainer; unused credit lapses with no roll-forward.
Most common. Internal tools, portals, custom web apps. Two workshops, written architecture brief, fixed-band quote.
SaaS & MVP. For new product builds and SaaS MVPs — 5–8 customer interviews, technical architecture, fixed-band roadmap.
CREDIT RULE — 50% OF THE DISCOVERY FEE CREDITS TOWARD YOUR KICKOFF PROJECT RETAINER WITHIN 30 DAYS, CAPPED AT THAT PROJECT RETAINER. UNUSED CREDIT LAPSES WITH NO ROLL-FORWARD.

Every band below is the project total, not a monthly figure. The discovery output names which band applies and locks the number — you know the ceiling before code.

05 — TEMPER · CARE PLANS
Post-launch care is a separate engagement unless the signed proposal expressly includes it. Proposal-defined deliverables transfer under the signed payment terms whether or not you buy care. Four plans are priced and bounded below.

Active CMS sites, customer portals. Performance optimization, priority response.
Apps & SaaS. 24/7 uptime monitoring, DB maintenance, security patching.

06 — THE RULES
Public ranges are a starting record. The signed discovery, proposal, and any written change orders govern the actual scope, price, and delivery model.
We won't price a build off a Zoom call. Apps work starts with Delphi App Discovery or Delphi Product Strategy so the recommended build is written before it is signed.
DISCOVERY — $3.5K–$15K

AUTHORITY — SIGNED SCOPE
If you proceed with a build within 30 days, we credit 50% of the discovery fee against your kickoff Project Retainer, capped at that Project Retainer. Unused credit lapses and does not roll forward to later milestones.
WINDOW — 30 DAYS
Domains, hosting accounts, repositories, and database access are created under your control when the signed proposal calls for it. Completed proposal-defined deliverables transfer on final payment. Reusable methods, components, and internal tools remain ours unless the signed agreement says otherwise.
LOCK-IN — NONE
Discovery and audits are 100% upfront. Builds under $5K use 50/50; $5K–$15K uses 40/40/20; $15K–$50K uses 30/30/25/15; $50K+ uses a custom written milestone schedule.
PATTERN — 100% DISCOVERY · SCALED BUILD MILESTONES
The principal scopes, designs, writes foundational code, and owns the handoff. No junior leads, no offshore teams you'll never meet.
